Independent Investigations
Getting to the bottom of issues seems increasingly complicated, and obligations of natural justice and fair process can be tricky to navigate. Sometimes, it is not appropriate or possible for matters to be investigated internally, and an external and independent investigator is required.
An independent investigation may be required in a workplace (eg to establish whether an employee’s bullying complaint should be upheld), or in other areas of work (eg a customer complaint).
Amy is an experienced investigator, having conducted numerous independent investigations, assisted military Courts of Enquiry, and from sitting on the District Liquor Licensing Committee.
